NHAGC Field Target Club Champs - 22 April 2017

Here are the results from Sundays Field Target Club Champs.

A good turnout particularly in the Sporter class made for an interesting day. The weather was really good with a light breeze from behind just enough to keep everyone guessing.

We had 2 PCP's in Sporter Tim and Bruce who pushed each other in their 1st FT shoot and gave them a taste for the competitive side of FT. Johan who has had it all his own way in Sporter was close behind in 3rd... I think he needs to practice sitting shooting the whole course kneeling is going to cost him a couple of points here and there.

Unfortunately we only had 3 springers, however Earle and Ian's scores are steadily improving this year and can hopefully provide Rob D with some competition soon.

In PCP, Rob Nixon made a welcome appearance to take 3rd after not shooting for about a year. Carl managed to tie with Rob D so didn't get beaten by the springer and well I managed to mess up a 50m target to end on 49... goes to show, go with your first thoughts and don't change your mind.

The next shoot is Metallic Silhouettes on the 6th May. So book that in for some standing practice.

We will be holding the FT Club Champs this Sunday. We will have medals for all 3 classes. This year will be the 1st time that we have had medals for Sporter, so if you are new to the sport then come along and give it a go.

When: Sunday 23rd April at 9.30am at NHAGC
Cost: $10 per shooter.
Entry fee includes coffee, tea and a BBQ at the end of the shoot.

We need as many members to attend as possible so please make the effort to come along.

Registrations open at 9am
Sighting in range will be open from 9.30am to 10.15am
Competition will commence at 10.30am
